Image  Major

Major is a very big boy with a very big heart. He would be best suited for a retired couple. His size and looks make him very intimidating, but the secret is " He is sweet as sugar"

Major was left behind and forced to fend for himself as a result from this he does suffer from slight separation anxiety, he is getting much better with this but it will take time before he gets over it. He will need a couple of weeks of steady companionship before he will be able to be left alone. So if you have a busy lifestyle he is NOT the dog for you.

Major loves to play with toys, I don't think I have seen him to many times without a toy in his mouth. But on the other hand he is quite a gentleman he does not jump up on people and he does not pull on a leash when walked. He is also housetrained.
He does not like cats and he does not care for male dogs , but will tolerate females. But he honestly likes to be with humans best of all. Other than playing with toys he loves to ride in cars and golf carts. ( yup golf carts) I think someone forgot to tell him how big he was.

If you think that Major may be the dog for you, fill out an application and if we think you would make a great forever home for him we will call you and tell you more about him.

Adoption Fee $125.00

Image Max                                              ( ADOPTED )

This is Max. He is a 6 month old Shepherd/ Husky mix. He is a sweet and very active little boy. 5 minutes with him and he will steal your heart. We did not go to the shelter for Max, but we sure left with him.  When we went to pick up another dog we saw him and immediately knew there was no way we were leaving without him . I am so glad he came back with us, he is just a charmer and a people pleaser. Even the veterinarian said, and I quote " What a fantastic little guy " If you are not only looking for a pet, but a lifetime friend, he's your man.

Medical Information: He is up to date on vaccinations. He is neutered and being maintained on Heartworm and flea prevention.
